Who handles which EPA 608 request

| Book, reschedule or retake a test | The certifying program you registered with. EPA's list of approved programs has their details. |
| Get your results or wallet card | Your certifying program. The rule gives it 30 days from the test date for both results and the card (40 CFR 82, Appendix D (e)–(f), eCFR as of October 5, 2026). |
| Replace a lost card | The program that certified you; if it has closed, see replacing a lost EPA 608 card. |
| Confirm someone's certification | The issuing program's own list; EPA 608 certification lookup explains how. |
| Ask about compliance at your business | EPA's Section 608 pages or your own advisor. This site explains rules for the exam and can't advise on compliance. |
A correction moves faster with
- the page address and the first few words of the question;
- the option you think is right, and why;
- a source if you have one: a section of 40 CFR Part 82, an EPA page or a program page.

Replies aren't guaranteed. Confirmed errors are corrected or the question is removed.
